When I divorced my wife, I wanted a clean start with everything. We did not have any kids nor did we own any property, so it was a quick divorce. I told her I would move from the house we were renting because I never did care for it in the first place. I have always favored apartments because I don’t like having to do a lot of maintenance myself, such as mowing the grass and shoveling snow. I did a search for The Pavilions apartment homes because my friend lives there, and I really like everything there from when I would visit him.
I did not need anything big. I was not planning on getting in another relationship for a very long time. I spend most of my time at work, which was one of the reasons we divorced, so I just basically needed a place to sleep and spend the weekends. I was able to find a floor plan there that I really liked. The Oakwood is a one bedroom apartment that has one bathroom, two spacious closets, a kitchen and separate dining room along with a pantry. The living room is quite spacious, but I decided that I really liked that.
I was able to look at a couple of different pictures of it, and I knew that it would be perfect for me. I was able to request info right from the site, and it was not long before I was able to look at one in person. I already knew that I was going to take it even before I stepped inside it, but it was nice being able to see what it was like in person. I moved in the following week, and it is the best decision I have made in a very long time! It already feels more like home than the house I just left.
